Spanish Fluency for professionals is a comprehensive, two-course, sequenced world language continuing education program that can be completed in two terms. The courses are designed to progressively improve language skills with intensive focus on spoken language. They are ideal for government employees/contractors, business professionals, first responders, medical personnel and anyone needing Spanish language skills for their job or career advancement. Upon successful completion of both courses at each program level students will earn a continuing education certificate.


What is the training? 

AACC currently offers the following three continuing education certificates: Spanish Fluency Foundations, Spanish Fluency Comprehension, and Spanish Fluency Mastery. Each certificate requires successful completion of two noncredit courses.

What credentials can I earn?

Upon successful completion of each set of two classes, students will earn an AACC continuing education certificate. Once you successfully complete all the course requirements of the certificate program with a passing grade or higher, submit a Student Application for a Continuing Education Certificate.

What will it cost?

The cost for each certificate is currently $618 for Anne Arundel County residents, including tuition and fees. A textbook is required for each class. The textbook information is available at the AACC bookstore.

What are the requirements?

Students must be at least 16 years old.

How to Enroll

The courses on this page are noncredit, meaning you won’t earn college credit toward a degree. You don’t need to apply. Just choose a program or course that interests you, and check the noncredit schedule for a class that fits your schedule. Note the course number, section number and start date and register through our online portal, MyAACC.
