Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer Kellie McCants-Price, Ph.D., was recognized as an honoree of Anne Arundel County's 2024 Michelle Obama Awards.
Named after the former first lady who serves as a role model for women, the award celebrates remarkable women across the county who recognize the need to eradicate bias and discrimination from lives and institutions, paving the way for a more positive future.
"One of Dr. McCants-Price’s passions is ensuring that all – especially those historically excluded – find a seat and amplify their voices at the table in higher education and the community at large," noted her nomination.
