Private scholarships through the AACC Foundation have a profound and enduring impact on AACC students and our community.
Connor, recipient of the Hamel Builders Scholarship in Honor of Cullen Murray, is an AACC student pursuing his degree in construction management. Connor’s passion for the industry led him to an internship with Hamel Builders Inc. "The experience has been eye-opening. Everyone works together toward a common project goal. I believe that this opportunity will create endless possibilities for me in the future," he said.
Avery, recipient of the Tess Richards Memorial Scholarship, is an AACC nursing student. “Receiving this scholarship represents not only a financial blessing but a profound realization of my dreams,” she said. “It is a beacon of hope and opportunity for someone like me who is determined to achieve a meaningful education. Becoming a nurse and supporting our community with exceptional levels of healthcare for all is my dream of success.”
N’kobe, a general scholarship recipient, reflected on the impact a scholarship can have on someone who dreams of a better future. “As a full-time student working a full-time job, it has been hard for me to maintain focus on my studies while also managing my responsibilities. Scholarship support means the world to me as it relieves the financial burden of figuring out how to pay for my education and gives me the peace of mind to continue on my academic journey.”
Through the generosity of our donors, scholarships through the AACC Foundation help students with financial support to successfully complete their program or certificate. Every gift makes a difference in the life of a student. When our students succeed, the entire community benefits.
