A Little More

Zia Hassan has been teaching at AACC since 2019, where he teaches subjects in coaching, education and developmental psychology. What Hassan enjoys most about teaching at AACC is the sense of community and the college's strong coaching culture, which aligns perfectly with his passion for personal and professional development.

Students often describe Hassan as an engaging and innovative instructor, known for incorporating fun, interactive activities into the classroom. His teaching style creates an immersive learning environment that keeps students excited about the material. He is inspired by the wisdom his students bring from their own life experiences, which enriches classroom discussions.

With a background that includes working with tech giants like Microsoft and IBM, Hassan leverages his expertise to simplify complex concepts in education, psychology and coaching. His integration of artificial intelligence into his curriculum gives students a unique perspective on the interplay between humans and technology, helping to prepare them for an increasingly digitized world. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University, Hassan’s research focuses on the intersection of education and artificial intelligence.

In addition to his academic role, Hassan is also an insightful coach, guiding people through career and life transitions. His multifaceted approach to teaching and coaching makes him a valuable asset to the AACC community, always seeking new ways to inspire and empower his students.
