Use Quickbooks software (cloud-based) for the study of computerized accounting systems with emphasis on the application of accounting theory and practice. Complete projects for both service and merchandising-based entities, including creating a company, accounting for balance sheet accounts, adjusting accounts, reconciling bank accounts and closing the accounting cycle. Utilize a personal computer for accessing, updating, working with, saving, and sharing electronic files. Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENG 101/ENG 101A or permission of department chair.
