Examine the vital role of intelligence analysis in managing the security of terrorist attacks and other threats. Explore vulnerabilities within national defense and private sectors, and address the threats posed by terrorism, human-caused disasters and natural disasters. Engage in discussions on substantive issues related to intelligence support for homeland security measures implementd by the United States and explore the operations of the intelligence community. Prerequisite: HLS 111 or permission of director.
