Gain an introduction to the profession of health education, including historical overview, terminology and discussions regarding locations and agencies where health education theory is being practiced. Focus on the potential impact of healthcare reform and how prevention research and health promotion will be integrated into the future of the US and global healthcare systems. Prerequisite(s): PBH 101, PBH 102, and PBH 105, or permission of the department chair. Note: This course has a service learning requirement.
