Learn about mental disorders, including an examination of causes, symptoms, treatment and management. Study anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders and schizophrenia. Explore problems in the field of abnormal psychology and discuss current attempts to solve them. Prerequisite: PSY 111 or PSY 111H or permission of department chair. Note: Also offered as PSY 214H; credit is not given for both PSY 214 and PSY 214H.
