Stop by the Hawk's Nest for this energizing, student-focused event. Empty Bowls features service-learning students from the Hotel, Culinary Arts and Tourism Institute (HCAT). This event is in collaboration with the Sarbanes Center for Career and Civic Engagement.
Empty Bowls is a grassroots movement by artists and craftspeople in cities and towns around the world to raise money for food-related charities. At AACC, HCAT service-learning students from Chef Randy Stahl's Cooking Techniques 1 (HRM-123) course will prepare and serve the soup. Your $10 donation will benefit AACC HelpLink and comes with a colorful retail bowl to keep.
