Learn the fundamental building blocks that form a modern network including protocols, topologies, hardware, and network operating systems. Develop the networking knowledge and skills related to TCP/IP, Ethernet, and wireless transmission and security. Learn to maintain and troubleshoot existing local area networks. This course addresses the core material of the CompTIA Network+ exam objectives. Lab fee $40. Prerequisite: CSI 112 or CSI 113 or EET 160 or EET 260.
